3 Officers Added to Wall. Three NYPD officers who died of illnesses related to Ground Zero work will have their names inscribed on a wall honoring their service. After news broke that an off-duty officer was arrested for flashing his gun on a commuter train, he has since told reporters that he was acting in self defense. Video of his response is here. The officer faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
